I was pricing Western Red Cedar Shingles to side an addition I was building. I needed to match the existing siding on the original house. Direct Cedar showed up on my search. I contacted them and within a few hours I had pricing and all of the information I requested. The sales staff couldn’t be more helpful. They tracked my delivery for me and informed me of a trucking error that was quickly corrected. The shingles arrived in one week (northeast coast USA). They were from a very reputable sawmill in BC. From order to delivery and through customs Paul Willson at Direct Cedar was on top of the order always following up and a pleasure to work with. The shingles are perfect at 18″ exactly, clear, and well bundled for the long journey from British Columbia to Maine! Even with the cross continental shipping they were better priced than local white cedar which we have found not as durable as the Alaskan yellow. Thanks for a smooth transaction Paul!
