Certigrade® 8″ Clear Edgegrain SANDED product

Once installed gives the appearance of a #1 Grade. Rebutted/Rejointed Shingles are manufactured specifically for exterior and interior wall surface uses. They are a low maintenance product that adds beauty, texture, durability and insulating qualities to either new construction or remodeling and renovation of existing structures. Rebutted/Rejointed Shingles Appearance Manufactured from Number 2 Grade Red Label Alaskan Yellow cedar shingles, trimmed for parallel edges with butts sawn at right angles. Length 18-inch; width 4″ minimum; thickness on 18-inch is 5/2″ (5 butts together measure 2″ thick). 8″ clear.

All of our products are first kiln dried then rebutted and re-edged (R&R). This process gives all of the shingles a uniform length and parallel edges. There are also options for non R&R products. Non R&R shingles and shakes are kiln dried and left as they are from the milling process. Lengths vary up to 2″ and the edges are parallel up to 1/4″ on shingles and 1/2″ on shakes.

For exterior and interior walls where a premium quality product is desired.
